Mango Smoo(tea) Bowl

Everybody's freezing up bananas and blending them into nice cream. But in the tropical paradise where I live, frozen fruit ice creams goes beyond just bananas.

Living right in the heart of the tropics meant that I'm blessed with an abundance of so many beautiful, amazing tropical fruits: papaya, mangoes, soursop, mangosteen, durian, pitaya and so much more I've yet to discover.

Frozen papaya, soursoup and mangoes blends up to a beautiful, smooth ice cream consistency just like bananas. Add a little citrus and the flavors would pop up beautifully. Blend in coconut milk and it turns into a decadent, creamy and rich nice cream. A play of fruits can create amazing flavors that tastes exactly like candy.

This time I'm sticking with everyone's favorite fruit: mango. Mangoes are sweet enough on their own, but adding orange juice, green tea and a splash of vanilla brings in a little kick that beautifully pairs with the mangoes and stand out more - just like how renowned tea & coffee shops like Starbucks pairs their iced tea with mango syrup. This one's just as refreshing, or even fresher because it's made up of just fresh fruits.
