Dark Rum Hot Chocolate

It's festive season! Don't fret, join the party! Skip the whiskeys and make this almost-boozy hot chocolate so you don't feel left out. Joining the fun without the dreaded hangovers!

P.S. The rum makes it taste almost like baileys! AND the cogon grass helps cool down your body's heat!

Dark Rum Hot Chocolate

Serves one

Ingredients

4 dates

1 1/2 tbsp dark rum

1/4 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup plain unsweetened almond milk

3 tbsp raw cacao powder

Method

1. Blend all ingredients until smooth

2. Transfer to a saucepan and gently simmer until warm, be careful not to boil

3. Pour over a mug and serve with shaved dark chocolate for an extra chocolate kick
