Creamy Strawberry Sorbet

I loooove strawberries. They're on the list of my favorite fruits, no, my favorite food. I could eat strawberries by the tub. As an avid strawberry lover, I love anything strawberry flavored. Though there's one big problem about it: everything strawberry-flavored tastes so artificial, I could barely taste any real strawberry flavor in it. The commercial flavor of strawberry is just so far from what an organic and wonderfully ripe strawberry taste like. That's why I like making my own strawberry treats; and my favorite is a strawberry sorbet.

So simple to whip up (you really just have to blend) and yet so, so good.

Best of all, it's absolutely dairy and fat free.

2 Ingredients Strawberry Sorbet

Serves one-two scoops

Ingredients

1 cup frozen strawberries

1 large banana, frozen

Directions

1. Wash and dry the strawberries, then peel and cut a banana. Seal them in a ziplock or in an airtight container separately (The banana starts to brown when it comes in contact with other food) and freeze overnight.

2. Grab the frozen fruits from the freezer and put in a high speed blender. Pulse a few times then scrape out the edges, blend again on high until smooth and creamy. This may take longer to make in a normal blender and cause the sorbet to melt a little, but you could re-freeze it for a while before serving.

3. Add agave syrup to sweeten if desired, I like mine a bit sour.

4. Use an ice cream scoop and serve on a cone or a cup, then top with more strawberries!

Raw. Vegan. Sugar Free.
